Shown in his paddock at Northview Stallion Station in Chesapeake City, Maryland, Concern is just beginning his stud career. His first crop of foals are now three year olds.
A tremendous closing kick was Concern's trademark, and it was never so important or impressive as it was in the 1994 Breeders' Cup Classic where he stormed home to defeat Tabasco Cat, Soul of the Matter, Best Pal, Bertrando, Go for Gin, Devil His Due and others.
Winner also of the Arkansas Derby (G2), Californian S. (G1) and New Orleans H. (G3), Concern was multiple stakes-placed including the Grade 1 Travers S., Super Derby, Haskell Invitational H., Oaklawn H., Pimlico Special H. and Meadowlands Cup.
