A.P. Indy

Every year has been a good year for this 11-year old stallion, but 2000 has been particularly impressive. Of his 20 stakes winners through the end of 1999, three were Grade/Group 1 winners (Tomisue's Delight, Symoli Indy and Runup the Colors).

This year, two of those 20 stepped up and won Grade 1s - Golden Missile and Stephen Got Even - and Secret Status joined the elite group with impressive wins in the Kentucky Oaks (G1) and Mother Goose (G1). Three other offspring became stakes winners this year bringing his total to 24 from 263 foals.

Golden Missile is currently the leading older horse in the country, Secret Status is the clear leader in the three year old filly division and daughter, Lu Ravi, most recently defeated multiple Champion Silverbulletday in the Molly Pitcher Breeders' Cup H. (G2) racing in the Older F&M division. With Ability is a two year old winner of the Fashion Stakes and Reflect The Music became a stakes winner this year at age four. Stephen Got Even has been sidelined, but won the Donn H. (G1) earlier this year.

Standing at Lane's End Farm in Versailles, Kentucky, A.P. Indy's 2000 stud fee was listed as $150,000 Live Foal.
