Val's Prince This 8-year-old attempted to be a 3-time winner of The Turf Classic Invitational (gr. I) at Belmont Park. Unfortunately, Val's Prince just could not overcome a very slow pace set by an even older horse, John's Call. Val's Prince has been unlucky in the Breeders' Cup Turf, having finished near the back of the pack in 1997 and 1999. Perhaps the third time will be the charm.
