Hap, a handsome 4-year-old son of Theatrical, was on a 4-race win
streak this year... until the Kelso Handicap (gr. II) this weekend.
Unlucky in this race--having to check hard and then getting stuck in
traffic--Hap lost the race to Forbidden Apple, who he had beaten
earlier this year at Belmont Park. Hap races under the colors of the
Allen Paulson estate.
