Cardmania joined a select few geldings who have won a Breeders' Cup race. Three geldings have won the Sprint (Thirty Slews, Cardmania and Elmhurst), one gelding has won the Turf (Great Communicator) and one gelding won the Mile (Da Hoss). Da Hoss is attempting a second win in the mile this year.
