Gilded Time - 1992 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Winner Gilded Time battled with River Special at the top of the lane and later held off the late charge of Itsali'lknownfact to win the Juvenile and capture the 2-year-old Championship of 1992. Gilded Time is the only Juvenile winner to finish in the money in another Breeders' Cup race (3rd in the 1993 Sprint to Cardmania and Meafara). Favorite Trick will attempt to better that record, seeking to win the Mile this year after winning the Juvenile in 1997. |

Three geldings have won the Sprint (Thirty Slews, Cardmania and Elmhurst), one gelding has won the Turf (Great Communicator) and one gelding won the Mile (Da Hoss). Da Hoss is attempting a second win in the mile this year. |

Lady's Secret captured eight Grade 1 races in 1986, capping the year off with an easy win in the Breeders' Cup Distaff. This performance gained her the coveted Horse of the Year honor. Lady's Secret is scheduled to be sold in the Keeneland November sale starting November 8, the day after the Breeders' Cup. |

Northern Spur fought hard down the lane to capture the race by a neck on a very soft turf course at Belmont Park under Chris McCarron, giving his owner, Charles Cella, his very first Breeders' Cup victory.
